Ellsworth Adult Education depends on the dedication and expertise of the many talented and committed people in our communities to provide a broad selection of workforce training and enrichment offerings for our community.
Whether you are new to teaching or a veteran, we hope you’ll contact us to learn more about offering a presentation, workshop, or course in our community. We get requests for specific courses and are also interested in offering a variety of opportunities for adults in our communities
We are currently actively seeking instructors in the following areas:
- computer training-all levels (both PCs and Macs)
- smart phones and tablets (both Apples and Androids
- creating and editing WordPress websites
- foreign languages
- job readiness
- arts & crafts
The first step is to meet with our director, Annie Sargent, or complete a course proposal, whichever suits you best. Annie is eager to assist individuals new to teaching and/or to our program to design a schedule, format and course description that will draw community members to the event. Please feel free to email ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org, call 207.664.7110 or make an appointment to meet with Annie. We are very flexible and provide and much support as people need to share their skills, knowledge and experience with the community. You don’t need to be an expert!
