Ellsworth Adult Education is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for our learners and staff.
- For the safety of our adult learners and staff, like all Ellsworth School District facilities, our learning center door is locked
- Please knock and someone will come to the door to ask your name and the purpose of your visit.
- They will also ask you questions related to COVID Safety.
- There are new safety procedures in place to keep you safe from COVID-19
- Adult learners, staff and other visitors will be required to wear a face covering at all times during their time in the building.
- Note: We understand that some adult learners are not able to wear a mask, nonetheless we are requiring everyone who chooses to enter the building to protect themselves and others by wearing a face covering. If you cannot wear a mask or face covering, we will have some disinfected face shields to lend.
- Everyone will be asked to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when they arrive.
- Unfortunately no visitors may wait for students in our lobby. Most people will have an appointment and/or a scheduled class or meeting, though it is possible to enter to make an inquiry about programs or to register for a class.
- For their safety, adult learners are encouraged to bring a pen and/or pencil and a simple notebook for their learning sessions. We will have some on hand as needed.
- Adult learners, staff and other visitors will be required to wear a face covering at all times during their time in the building.
- No one should enter the building if
- they have any potential COVID-19 symptoms. We will have you answer a question checklist as you enter our learning center.
- they have been to a state with a high rate of confirmed infections within the last two weeks or have been in the company of someone who has. If you are unsure, please let us know of your recent travel locations and we can check for you.
