COVID times have thrown us off kilter in all respects, including our eating habits. In this 4-week class, we will compassionately explore and learn about the physical, emotional and environmental factors that can influence our food choices and eating patterns, with the intention of increasing awareness and creating a healthy balanced relationship with food. Learn about what exactly mindful eating is, the different types of hungers that drive our desire to eat, the science behind food cravings and willpower, as well as how nourishing ourselves with food affects our resiliency and can increase our overall well-being. Jen Harry, BA is a Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher who is committed to sharing tools and practices that fit easily into everyday life and help people navigate stress, uncertainty, anxiety and overwhelm as well as find more ease, peace & joy in life. She has 15 years experience working in the mental health field and has been teaching Stress Reduction and Mindfulness in a variety of settings for the past 8 years.
