Learn how to use the tremendous power of functions in Excel. This class is the right fit for you if you have experience with working with Excel and understand how to create a formula such as SUM.
We will start with a review of the use of absolute reference in building robust formulas, and then look at the general structure of functions. We will explore and use some of veteran Excel user, Marty Williams' favorite functions including PMT for calculating mortgage payments, IF for a decision making formula and of course, SUM, MIN, MAX, and AVERAGE. Then we will look at COUNTIF, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, MATCH, and INDEX as powerful means for getting information out of your data. There are many more specialized functions, so questions are welcomed! This is a live online class.
Makeup class, if needed, 03/29/21.
