Considering purchasing your first home? Not sure what you need to know? Start with this 8-hour hoMEworks buyer education workshop! You'll learn from industry professionals (lenders, home inspectors, real estate agents) in a safe and non-sales environment. Buyers who have taken this workshop report being more confident when asking questions and making decisions about homeownership and loan products. You’ll gain tools to avoid predatory lending and possible foreclosure.
While hoMEworks Workshops are usually offered in person statewide, Penquis has partnered with Ellsworth Adult Education to offer this workshop live online using ZOOM during the time of COVID. The workshop includes a lunch break.
