2020 has been quite a year. On behalf of all of us at Ellsworth Adult Education, we send wishes of good health and prosperity during these difficult times. While there have been many challenges we have also discovered some silver linings. We hope the same is true for you! Our programming this Fall is designed to support our neighbors in reaching their potential. Our workforce training and technology offerings have expanded. We have a sampling of enrichment offerings, all of which are online to ensure the safety of our community, and we’re already working on a robust enrichment program for the Winter & Spring of 2021 when we hope we will all be turning over a new leaf.
Our big news is that we have moved to the front of the Mill Mall. We hope to have a building sign up soon so we’ll be easy to find. For those who remember the jewelry store–that’s where we are. This year our facility will be under construction so only our academic programming will happen on site. When you do come to the site you’ll find that we are following all of the Maine CDC guidance so handwashing, masks and social distancing are required. Like all the other school department facilities, our doors will be locked. When you come to the door we will greet you and ask you some COVID related questions. During this time only students, staff and support people are permitted in the facility. Thanks for your understanding while we work with the community to keep Ellsworth safe.
Stay safe. Stay warm.
