Ellsworth School Department is seeking a full time Computer Technician to work within our Informational Technology Team. The Computer Technician is the primary support contact for five locations (Superintendent Office, Adult Education, Ellsworth Elementary Middle School, Ellsworth High School and Hancock County Technical Center).
The Ellsworth School Department uses various technology tools including but not limited to; iPads, MacBook Airs, Apple TV’s, Kindles, Chromebooks, Windows Desktops and Laptops, Projectors, Sound Systems, Interactive Whiteboards, Copiers-Printers and Interactive Video Conferencing Equipment.
The candidate must possess demonstrated leadership in maintaining and troubleshooting various technology components and systems.
Excellent verbal, organization and written communication skills.
Provide excellent technical assistance to computer system users: this includes students, teachers, administrators and additional support staff.
Ability to handle multiple calls and technical situations and follow them through to a solution.
Document daily activity of all communications, issues, and actions taken within Help Desk Ticket System.
Authoring and Presenting training materials and procedures for various audiences.
Maintaining Operational Systems such as Security Cameras, Phone Systems, Heating and Lighting Systems.
ACMT, CompTIA A+ certification, JAMF Certified Admin are desired.
